Star Wars: The Last Jedi Gets How It Should Have Ended Treatment
The latest entry in the How it Should Have Ended video series covers Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and it parodies the film’s more controversial plot elements, confusing storylines, and downright sinister killing off of Admiral Ackbar. It’s no secret that Episode VIII didn’t sit well with a sizable portion of the Star Wars fanbase. Despite garnering critical acclaim and racking up over $1.3 billion at the box office, many fans walked away from theaters feeling disappointed — even betrayed.
Director Rian Johnson took the Star Wars saga to some bold places in The Last Jedi. By killing off fan-favorites like Luke Skywalker, Supreme Leader Snoke, and Admiral Ackbar, the filmmaker clearly demonstrated that he wasn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers while executing his vision.
