The latest episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL) paid homage to Black Panther as the long-running comedy show staged a sketch that is supposedly a “Deleted Scene” from the Marvel film. Already almost a month since the movie rolled out in cinemas, the 18th film from the MCU continues to dominate the box office, officially joining the $1 billion dollar film club over the weekend. And SNL helped celebrate the milestone by performing a funny gag spoofing the blockbuster.

Hosted by Sterling K. Brown, this week’s SNL finally included a Black Panther parody. The short sketch saw Brown play a new character, different from his original role in the Ryan Coogler-directed flick as N’Jadaka, father of villain Erik Killmonger and uncle to Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa.
