While the network has long aired two original TV shows every weeknight, it was announced back in February that The CW will be <a href="https://screenrant.com/cw-tv-shows-sundays/">expanding its lineup to Sunday nights</a> for the 2018-19 season. As a result, The CW will be airing no less than five DC superhero TV shows at once starting in October, along with new genre TV series such as the <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/charmed/"><em>Charmed</em></a> reboot.</p><p>Among the shows returning to The CW in the fall are the four Arrowvere TV series (<em>Arrow</em>, <em>The Flash</em>, <em>DC's Legends of Tomorrow</em>, and <em>Supergirl</em>), along with the standalone DC superhero show <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/black-lightning/"><em>Black Lightning</em></a> and moody Archie Comics TV adaptation <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/riverdale/"><em>Riverdale</em></a>. <em>Supernatural</em>, aka. the show that cannot die, will also be back for its fourteenth season, along with cult favorite <a href="https://screenrant.com/tag/crazy-ex-girlfriend/"><em>Crazy Ex-Girlfriend</em></a>.
