UPDATE: It's live! Watch the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer here.

The Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer is coming out today, but what time can people expect it to release online? A sequel to Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming, this year's Spider-Man: Far From Home sees Tom Holland reprise his role as the eponymous superhero along with a handful of supporting characters from the first movie. And while some of the villains from the first movie are expected to return as well, this time, Spidey will be going up against Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio.

Last month saw the release of the second Captain Marvel trailer as well as the very first Avengers: Endgame trailer, and since Spider-Man: Far From Home takes place after the events of both movies, people have been wondering if Far From Home's trailer will spoil any of the plot details from those films. However, that doesn't seem to be the case, according to the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer description from CCXP 2018. Interestingly, the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer was supposed to release last month as well, but it was pushed back at the last minute (for various reasons).

Thankfully, fans don't have to wait much longer to see the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer themselves; it's expected to release today, going off teases from Sony and rumors. Going off Sony's release pattern, first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer is expected to release at or around 6 am PST/9 am EST/2 pm GMT on January 15.

UPDATE: Tom Holland has really stoked the flames on social media, hinting he'll be dropping the trailer around 5:45 pm PST, lining up with our prediction.

Since this trailer is coming a month after the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer debuted at CCXP, it's certainly possible that it won't include the same footage shown, even though that trailer didn't spoil anything for Avengers: Endgame. It's worth noting that even though Spider-Man: Far From Home exists within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is a production of Marvel Studios, the movie is still very much a Sony Pictures film, and is therefore handled internally by Sony Pictures' marketing team.

Given that Spider-Man: Far From Home is first and foremost a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, fans shouldn't expect to discover much information regarding how Peter Parker/Spider-Man comes back to life after having died in Avengers: Infinity War nor should they expect to uncover anything significant regarding the plot of Avengers: Endgame. Regardless, there should be plenty of Spider-Man action to enjoy in the trailer as well as in the movie itself.
