There are six movies in the Wrong Turn horror franchise, and all are available to watch online if one just knows where to look for them. The horror genre is full of long-running franchises that nobody really saw coming. Who would've ever thought there would be eight Leprechaun movies? Or ten Children of the Corn installments? Or most perplexing of all, over twenty Amityville movies of various origins? Horror can be a weird place sometimes.

It's unlikely most foresaw, upon its 2003 release, that the backwoods slasher film Wrong Turn would spawn an ever-expanding franchise. Reviews from mainstream critics were unkind, and general audiences weren't big on it, leading to a decent but underwhelming box office take. Yet, the horror community can be unpredictable, and embraced Wrong Turn once it landed on home video and in cable re-runs. New fans are still discovering it even today, judging by the continued arrival of more sequels.
