One of the best TV shows of all time, Breaking Bad, was released way back in 2008 and still, it is loved worldwide. A Vince Gilligan masterpiece, Breaking Bad is based in a town called Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the show's protagonist - Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston), along with Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul), tries to enter an already dangerous world of drugs.

7 "Cancer Man" (8.3)

In the fourth episode of season 1, Hank tells his DEA officers that there are new players in town, who are making super-pure meth. At a family barbecue, Walt and Skyler tell Marie and Hank that Walt has lung cancer and it's bad. At Jesse's house, he hangs out with Skinny Pete and Combo as they smoke the best meth ever. Skyler takes Walt to a doctor as they prepare for the cancer treatment, while Jesse shows up at his Mom and Dad's house.

Because of the demand for Walt's meth, Jesse proposes that they get back together but it's not going to be that easy. Moreover, to end the episode in classic fashion, Walt blows up a BMW.

6 "Gray Matter" (8.4)

In the fifth episode of season 1, Jesse looks for a job but comes across his old friend Badger who says he will be his partner if Jesse wants to return to the crystal business. Walt and Skyler attend Elliot Schwartz's (Walt's old friend) birthday party. It is revealed that Walt used to work with Elliot in a company called Gray Matter but he left.

Walt finally makes a decision about his chemotherapy and asks Jesse if they can cook again.

5 "Cat's In The Bag..." (8.7)

In the second episode of season 1, Walt and Jesse have a couple of things to deal with. They have to dispose of two bodies in the RV but, turns out, one of them, Krazy-8, is not dead. So, they decide to leave him and the RV at Jesse's house. Furthermore, they also agree that after dealing with this problem, they will part ways.

It's not that easy, though, as Krazy-8 somehow manages to escape but luckily, Walt is there in time to bring him back to Jesse's house. Skyler, recognizing that there is something off with Walt, gives Jesse an untimely visit. Moreover, Jesse fails to do what Walt told him and that might have some consequences.

4 "... And The Bag's In The River" (8.8)

In the third episode of season 1, it's all about clearing the mess Walt and Jesse created in episode 2. 3 "A No-Rough-Stuff-Type Deal" (8.9)

In the season 1 finale, Walt and Skyler are at the J.P Wynne High School as the officials inform them about the stolen respiratory mask. Walt tells Jesse about his deal with Tuco Salamanca but Jesse thinks it's almost impossible to make that amount of meth.

Their partnership with Tuco isn't going to be easy and that much is made clear towards the end of season 1.

2 "Pilot" (9.0)

In the first episode of season 1, everything starts with a flash-forward as a man named Walter White drives an RV with two bodies on the backside floating. He makes a stop, records a video for his family before he holds a gun and waits to be caught. Then, the viewers are taken to a flashback, three weeks ago. Walter aka Walt is revealed to be a chemistry teacher and a family man, whose brother in law, Hank works for the DEA. He allows Walt to come along with him for a bust, where the viewers meet Gomes, Hank's partner.

Walt and his family are struggling for money, so he also works at a car wash company. While working there, he collapses and at the hospital, the doctor says Walt has cancer and he'll live just a couple of years. This revelation sets some events in motion that will change Walt's life forever.

1 "Crazy Handful Of Nothin' "(9.3)

In the penultimate episode of season 1, Walt and Jesse decide on some ground rules as they return to cooking meth, while Walt continues his chemotherapy. He lies to Skyler about Elliot's cheque and tells her that he likes nature walks in the afternoon.

Hank and Gomie find a break in their case as they get to know where that respiratory mask was stolen from. Meanwhile, while selling the product, Jesse gets smacked by a man called Tuco, and that sets Walt on edge. He shaves bald and decides to confront Tuco.
